What EHR systems are supported?
Vizier works with data exports from all major EHR systems including Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Athenahealth, Allscripts, MEDITECH, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, and others. If your EHR can export to CSV or Excel, Vizier can work with it. We also support SystmOne and EMIS for NHS practices in the UK. For Enterprise clients, we can support custom data integration pipelines.
How does pricing compare to Tableau or Power BI?
A typical Tableau deployment for a mid-size health system costs $150,000–$500,000 for implementation, plus $70–$150 per user per month in licensing, plus the ongoing cost of a dedicated analyst to build and maintain dashboards. Power BI is cheaper on licensing but still requires analyst time. Vizier replaces all of that for a flat monthly rate with no analyst required. The CFO, the quality director, and the nurse manager all ask their own questions without waiting for IT.
Is a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) included?
Yes. A BAA is included with every tier — Practice, Health System, and Enterprise. It is not an add-on or an upgrade. We believe every customer handling protected health information should have a signed BAA in place, regardless of organization size. Our standard BAA is executed within 1 business day of request. Enterprise clients can negotiate custom BAA terms.
Can I start with a free trial?
Yes. Practice and Health System tier customers can start with a free trial. You can upload a sample dataset, run queries, and see the platform in action before committing. No credit card required to start the trial. Enterprise trials are available via a scheduled demo with our team.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. Upon cancellation, you have 30 days to export all datasets and reports. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted from our systems in accordance with our data retention policy. We do not hold your data hostage and we do not charge export fees. For Enterprise clients with multi-year retention requirements, data export and deletion timelines are defined in the service agreement.
How long does setup take?
Basic setup — uploading your first dataset and running your first query — takes the same day, often under an hour. Full onboarding, including connecting all relevant data sources, configuring alert rules, and training your team, typically takes 24–48 hours. Health System and Enterprise clients receive a dedicated onboarding specialist who manages this process. We have never had a six-month implementation.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my tier?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the new rate takes effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. There are no lock-in contracts on Practice or Health System tiers — billing is monthly. Enterprise agreements are typically annual.
Is pricing different for international customers?
Pricing is listed in USD. We serve customers in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the European Union. UK customers will be invoiced in GBP at the prevailing exchange rate. Middle East and EU customers are invoiced in USD. Contact us for regional pricing questions.
